Holy crap. So I find out via spoilers that Adam is doing one of my favorite songs EVER. This... worried me. Adam has a knack for picking songs I can't stand (read: "Ring of Fire", "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction", and "Play That Funky Music"), and making me absolutely fall in love with it. It's the weirdest thing in the world. So when I found out he was doing a song I absolutely loved, I was worried it would have the complete opposite effect, and I would hate it.
Thank you, Lord Gaga*, for proving me wrong. That was fucking amazing. Phenomenal.
Best part? Simon gave it a well-deserved standing ovation. WHAT?! He never does that! Woohoo! I haven't even watched anyone else yet. I guess I should. Meh.
* = Me and a few other Adam fans have dubbed him this, because he reminds us of Lady Gaga. Weird, glittery, fabulous... It works.

Adam's definitely out to prove why he's one of the most polarizing contestants this season. You either love him or hate him.
I loved it. I hate the song, and I knew he was going to have trouble with country week, but you know what? It was weird, strange, and I loved it. And I swear, I might sound like a fangirl, but damn. If he were straight and I wasn't married... That performance was just sexy as hell.
As for my other favorites:
Matt Giraud: Great performance. He keeps getting better and better. I've been a fan of his as long as I have Adam, and he keeps surprising me with his ability. When I heard he was singing this song, I went "oh no." But he was great.
Kris Allen: He's so freakin' cute, and I love this song. He actually made me cry. Very good job.
Anoop Desai: After the trainwreck that was last week, NOOP DAWG IS BACK. 'Nough said.
Allison Iraheta: Wasn't as good as last week, but it was still a solid performance.
And I like Danny Gokey, but not enough to give him commentary.
And I so close last week. I guessed Kris and Megan in the Bottom 4, with Jasmine and Jorge going home. Switch Anooop with Kris, and that's what happened.
My predictions this week:
Bottom three: Michael Sarver
Bottom two: Alexis Grace
Eliminated: Scott MacIntyre
But I wouldn't be surprised if Allison was in any of those spots. I will hate AI if they send her home so soon. She's so low on DialIdol.com. D:
ETA: OMG someone else's comments on it so made me realize why I loved it.

So I guess I should basically say.... if you aren't an AI watcher, you should probably ignore my posts on here Tuesday night/Wednesday.
Another fucking awesome Lambert performance!
I really wanted him to do "Dirty Diana" when I heard it was Michael Jackson week, but he fucking killed it. And my girl Allison and Matt did very well too, but I'm a little scared for Allison. For some reason, she's ranked really low on DialIdol.com. Hopefully they're wrong. She was one of the best tonight! And my other favorite, Anoop... wasn't bad, but the judges ripped him apart.
They loved Adam, though! I was talking to my mom last week, and she told me that if Adam makes the tour (read: Makes it to the Top 10, which I'm positive he will), she'll buy me and her tickets to go see the AI tour this year. She went during season five with her friend, without me, so this makes up for it. I felt like a little girl, asking if I could so see NSYNC or BSB again, LOL! Oh, those were the days.
